195 days are included on the school calendar. Schools will be open to pupils for 190 days. The 5 additional days are allotted for In-Service Training. However there will be an additional bank holiday in 2022, to commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. As this falls within May half term, the Department for Education have changed the 2021/22 academic year to 189 school days. We will be closed to pupils on Friday 17th December in lieu of this day.
